Kayla
Kayla Jean is a professional body piercer with four years of experience and a deep passion for body modification culture and history. Known for her precision, efficiency, and calming presence, Kayla prioritizes both the safety and comfort of every client who sits in her chair. She believes that body piercing should be a respectful, welcoming experience and works hard to create an environment where people from all walks of life feel safe, seen, and cared for.
A lifelong enthusiast of body modification, Kayla has a special appreciation for the history and archives surrounding piercing and body art. Her dedication to the craft goes beyond the procedure itself—she values the tradition, culture, and personal expression that body modification represents.
Originally from Big Lake, Alaska, Kayla still spends as much time there as she can visiting family and escaping to her family’s cabin in Petersville. Outside of the studio, she enjoys thrifting for unique finds, exploring oddities, reading, and spending time outdoors—whether that’s wandering through the woods or spending a day at Gate Creek with her family. Her favorite moments, though, are the quiet ones spent with her husband—watching hockey, relaxing together, or simply being out in the Alaskan wilderness.
